December 2025 Update

Health: So I'm supposed to get an MRI every three months. Got the results of my October scan (delayed till late November) in December (clear) so I invite you to imagine the level of stress involved in this. Every time a symptom comes to my attention I'm imagining all the possible scenarios.

Wealth: From February to September I was on 40% of my weekly wage and from September I have been on 60%. While I'm not destitute I just have to curtail my taste for expensive champagne.

Wisdom: I haven't noticed any brain farts in the last few months - not that they have not happened just that I haven't noticed them if they did happen. I'm now the proud owner of 101,000 pompom brooches but don't tell anyone. I am however finding dates a little slippy - I could have sworn that I had just a week more work before starting my Christmas break, imagine my disappointment, when I focused on this and, it was in fact three weeks before my break.

January 2026 Update

Got a delivery of samples today. Picture below shows a bag of 100 25m, a bag of 100 30mm and a bag of 10 50mm pompoms. The picture under that is of the 25mm and 30mm pompoms with a pair of glasses for scale. The approximate weights according to my kitchen scale are 2.257g, 3.031g, 297g and 118g respectively

And finally a few 20mm red and white and 50mm pink pompoms which are for another idea we're working on
